CCMS hosts CyberEskwela 2026 for Quezon National High School students
The College of Computing and Multimedia Studies, assisted by the MSEUF Association of Multimedia Artists and Technologists, hosted CyberEskwela 2026 on Jan. 31 at the CCMS Building to equip 120 Quezon National High School students with technical skills in multimedia computing.
The flagship annual community extension program served as a knowledge-sharing bridge between the university and the local community.
Participants joined intensive, expert-led workshops on Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and game design.
Through hands-on sessions, students moved from basic digital awareness to a practical understanding of professional creative workflows.
The initiative also introduced participants to possible career paths in the global creative economy, helping them see how digital design and multimedia skills may support their future goals.
Organizers said the activity helped improve the students’ technical literacy, creative confidence and engagement in technology-based learning.
The outreach also strengthened the institutional connection between CCMS and the community, highlighting the college’s commitment to inclusive digital education and skills development.
Through CyberEskwela 2026, CCMS and MASTECH established a strong model for future regional technical workshops and community-based learning initiatives.
