MASTech assists CCMS in general orientation for first-year new students

MSEUF Association of Multimedia Artists and Technologists

The College of Computing and Multimedia Studies through the assistance of MSEUF Association of Multimedia Artists and Technologists conducted its General Orientation for first-year and new students to introduce academic programs, facilities, and support services at the start of the school year, Aug. 17.

The orientation served as a welcoming activity designed to help new members of the college community transition smoothly into academic life. Students were introduced to the college’s departments and facilities to ensure they were well-informed and prepared for their academic journey.

The program also provided an opportunity for students to meet CCMS faculty members and the newly elected student officers for the school year. This interaction aimed to foster connection, support, and a sense of belonging within the college.

Organizers noted that the orientation successfully provided students with valuable insights into the college’s structure, resources, and support systems. Conducted in an engaging and interactive manner, the activity helped participants feel welcomed, informed, and ready for the upcoming academic year.

The orientation reflects the institution’s commitment to Service and Excellence by ensuring students are guided and supported as they begin their academic journey. It also demonstrates Unity and Mindfulness as CCMS builds a welcoming, student-centered environment that promotes connection and belonging.
