The CBA Academic Circle conducted its annual stubbing process from Aug. 5 to 8 at the CBA Building to orient and evaluate 25 student aspirants seeking membership in the College of Business and Accountancy’s flagship academic organization.

The weeklong activity, also known as “stub week,” served as the organization’s main orientation and recruitment phase.

Interested students, called tutees, met the current roster of officers, known as Sages, and learned more about the organization’s academic goals and activities.

As part of the membership process, tutees completed performance- and output-based assignments designed to assess their interest, commitment and aptitude for the organization.

Beyond the evaluations, the activity encouraged participants from various CBA programs to deepen their appreciation for academics, learning and wisdom.

The process also helped current officers strengthen team coordination and explore organizational plans for the upcoming term.

Through the activity, CAC continued to promote academic engagement, peer learning and active student involvement within the college.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Excellence, Unity and Fortitude by encouraging students to pursue academic growth, collaboration and commitment to organizational service. It also supported student-centered learning by giving students opportunities to develop discipline, leadership and teamwork beyond regular classroom activities.

  • SDG 4: Quality Education – The activity promoted academic engagement, peer learning and student development within the College of Business and Accountancy.
  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – The process helped students build skills in responsibility, performance and teamwork that support future professional growth.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – The activity strengthened collaboration among student aspirants, organization officers and the college community.
