The Association of Operations Management Students placed second in the booth competition during the College of Business and Accountancy Fiesta 2025, held from Sept. 24 to 26 at the CET Building of the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.
The three-day college-wide celebration, themed “Witchful Thinking: A CBA Fiesta of Wiz-ness and Magic,” aimed to promote unity, creativity, and experiential learning through themed booths and interactive activities organized by various CBA student groups.
AOMS conceptualized, designed, and operated a booth aligned with the event’s magical theme, demonstrating teamwork, creativity, and the practical application of organizational and management skills. Organizers said the group’s coordinated efforts contributed to the overall success of the fiesta.
The organization’s participation strengthened camaraderie among its members and collaboration within the CBA community. AOMS’ performance was recognized with a second-place award in the booth competition.
Beyond the recognition, the activity provided students with opportunities to relieve academic stress, build connections with fellow students, and further develop leadership, organizational, and operational skills through hands-on experience.
The activity supports the University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by providing experiential learning that bridges theory and practice. It reflects the core values of Excellence through applied management skills, Unity through collaboration within the college, Mindfulness by fostering balance and well-being, and Service by engaging students in meaningful co-curricular initiatives.
