Enverga Mauban summer camp continues in Lucena City
The 6-day Basketball and Dance Summer Camp of the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) in Mauban entered its final phase as selected campers continued their intensive training at the Main Campus in Lucena City on May 6–7. Twelve qualified campers from both basketball and dance were chosen to advance to the culminating activities in Lucena City.
The campers were transported to Lucena City and were warmly welcomed at the University Gymnasium by members of the University High School Varsity Team, Banyuhay, and the Tanglaw Kultura Dance Troupe. Vice President for Administration Dario Opistan encouraged the participants to maximize the opportunity to develop their skills and talents. The MSEUF Banyuhay Dance Troupe also showcased performances featuring folk and contemporary dances.
Basketball participants underwent fitness training under Coach Kyochi Pardilla, while dance campers continued their workshops and rehearsals. The campers were also taken on a tour around the University campus, where they experienced the institution’s bike project and later enjoyed a fellowship dinner at the U Café inside the University Arcade, giving them the chance to bond with fellow campers.
The summer camp will culminate with a Dance Recital and Exhibition Game. Qualified campers will officially receive their scholarship grants as they prepare to enroll at Enverga Mauban.
