The Manuel S. Enverga Academy Foundation, Inc., formerly the Luzonian University Foundation, the only university in Quezon province, started serving the public in June 1947. It was established by the late Congressman Manuel Samento Enverga with the mission to serve and educate the people of Region IV, especially the poor but deserving students. This did not end the mission of the late president of the university.
After a year of existence in Lucena City, other branches were established in other parts of Quezon namely Sampaloc (1948), Catanauan (1950), San Antonio (1959), and Candelaria (1992). The said branches were aimed to allow elementary graduates to pursue their education in the secondary and college levels.
The Sampaloc branch was called Luzonian Academy, now M.S. Enverga Academy Foundation, Inc., named after its mother school in Lucena City. It started with 150 students in 1948 occupying the residential house owned by Dolores Obmina Gagan.
After a year, the school purchased a building which became the main campus at present.
The three-story building comprises 15 rooms including the Principal's Office, Faculty Room, Guidance-Bookkeeper- OSA Office, Cashier's Office, and ten classrooms. The Technical Building rose in 2007 where the Library, Computer Room, and the TESDA Laboratory Room are located.
Amidst the crisis and trials, the school passed the test of time its long years of existence marks its maturity made colorful by its past and present achievements.
