The General Services Department, an integral part of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, provides services to the University’s stakeholders by
maintaining the good working condition of the buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and office workplaces through its various services that involve carpentry, electrical, painting, electromechanical, water, utility, sanitation, and pest control. The department is also in charge of the preventive and corrective maintenance and for the construction and improvements of the Physical Plant and Facilities of the University. Furthermore, the department is also in charge of supervising the outsourced janitorial, ground maintenance, skilled workers/laborers, and security agencies.\
The department also ensures appropriate response to requests of University stakeholders for power and other utilities and for the construction and fabrication of equipment, painting/repainting of furniture, and repair and replacement of electrical, plumbing, and other fixtures.
Other department tasks include assisting students, faculty, employees, and administrators to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in attaining learning outcomes through school activities that require the services of the security forces, electricians, carpenters, maintenance personnel, and other manpower that will perform the job specifications needed.
The General Services Department also assists in training and educating varied stakeholders in the use and simple preventive maintenance of the University's equipment, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a longer life span and usability.
To attain all of these, the General Services Department strives to train its personnel to hone and advance their skills for efficiency and effectiveness in meeting their varied tasks.
