The Taiwan International Talent Circulation Base Office – Philippines introduced the International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program) during an information session held at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Library Seminar Hall, Oct. 13.

The visit, led by Dr. Jennifer Reyes, director of the Global Engagement Office, together with Engr. Cielito Maligalig and Dean Rodrigo Belleza Jr., highlighted MSEUF’s commitment to expanding global partnerships and advancing international education. Nearly 100 participants from the Colleges of Computing and Multimedia Studies, Criminal Justice and Criminology, and Engineering attended the session, including faculty members, graduating students, and alumni interested in pursuing opportunities in Taiwan.

The INTENSE Program, initiated by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, aims to attract and train international talents who wish to study and work in Taiwan. It combines the resources of government, industry, and higher education institutions to provide academic, professional, and cultural experiences for global learners.

Leading the delegation was Ms. Joy Fojas, general manager of the INTACT Base Office in the Philippines, joined by representatives from Kun Shan University. Ms. Tina Chang, project manager of the Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs and INTENSE Program, presented the program’s objectives and benefits, emphasizing career pathways in Taiwan’s growing industries.

The session also explored possible collaborations among INTACT, Kun Shan University, and MSEUF, focusing on joint programs that promote student mobility, research exchange, and international cooperation. Ms. Chang also shared plans to expand INTACT’s partnerships with Philippine universities and support more Filipino students seeking advanced studies in Taiwan.

The INTACT team was later welcomed by Dr. Benilda Villenas, executive vice president of MSEUF, and toured the university campus. The visit strengthened educational relations between the Philippines and Taiwan, opening new opportunities for Envergans to engage in global learning and industry innovation.

This engagement reflects MSEUF’s dedication to Mindfulness, Excellence, and Unity, reinforcing its mission to provide transformative and globally relevant education.
