CCJC launch 2nd HCU international mobility cohort for forensics, disaster management in Thailand
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF)’s College of Criminal Justice and Criminology sent its second Forensic Science and Disaster Management cohort to Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU), Oct. 5.
This is part of the EU Flight international mobility program by the Global Engagement Office (GEO) to deepen field-ready skills through coursework, labs and cross-cultural collaboration.
HCU’s International Office welcomed the delegation and opened with an orientation on the academic calendar, program requirements, cultural adaptation and health and safety protocols.
Students are expected to tackle advanced forensic methodologies, disaster response frameworks and team projects with HCU faculty mentors.
“This immersion sharpens technical judgment and cultural fluency—two strengths our graduates need in crises and in court,” one of the participants said.
“We expect them to bring home methods they can apply in community risk reduction and evidence handling," CCJC dean Dr. Henedina Lagumen shared.
This mobility marks another step in MSEUF’s global partnerships strategy and builds students’ competence to operate to international standards in forensic practice and disaster management.
This initiative advanced MSEUF’s mission and outcomes-oriented, student-centered learning by embedding real-world, international experiences that integrate theory, skills and service. It reflected the core values of Excellence and Fortitude through rigorous training, Service by preparing students to protect communities, and Unity through cross-border collaboration.
