Three-part career marketing campaign introduces Enverga-Mauban
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted a three-part career marketing campaign held at the Mauban Municipal Gymnasium to introduce the upcoming Mauban affiliate school to the community, Jan. 16, Jan. 30, and Feb. 6.
This series of marketing events reached out to the future students of Mauban campus where speakers highlighted academic opportunities from the university, scholarship programs offered, testimonies of alumni, and encouragement from school heads.
Throughout the phases of the campaign, Vice President for External Relations Celso D. Jaballa opened the ceremonies with a welcoming message. This was followed by an overview of the Mauban Extension from Coordinator for Affiliate Schools Dr. Amelita O. Balagtas who also spoke about the university’s commitment to sharpen the minds and excellence of its students.
Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Dr. Claudia Odette J. Ayala, who is also the Assistant to the Vice President for Academics and Research, discussed the opportunities of choosing Enverga in terms of their academic career. Vice President for Administration Atty. Dario R. Opistan highlighted the advantage of being an Envergan and how it is built for the students’ success.
All three parts of the campaign concluded with a message from Board of Trustees member Atty. Buenaventura L. Quiling who reflected on his pride as a Maubanin and mentioned that the university's founder himself, Manuel Sarmiento-Enverga, also came from Mauban.
The first phase, held on January 16, engaged Grade 6 students from the North and South Districts of Mauban. Dr. Reina V. Pasumbal, Principal of Basic Education Department, discussed scholarship options and student support services while Andrea Nicole Medalla-Saberola of the BED Guidance and Admissions Office explained the procedure on admission and enrollment.
The second phase, conducted January 30, Grade 10 students had the opportunity to hear how the university can hone and shape their academic and career competencies. During the second and third phase, which targeted future college students, Director Maria Isabel D. Granada from the Office of Scholarships, Endowment, Job Placement, and Alumni Relations, discussed scholarship and financial support for college students, whereas the Admission Officer Kenezza B. Gariguez also provided details in college admission and enrollment.
In the final phase, alumni and professors of the university shared practical perspectives on their career paths. Web Content and Digital Engagement Office Director John Rover Sinag showed the advantages of being an Information Technology graduate. Prof. Daizelene Jabrica discussed learning opportunities in studying Psychology. Finally, Prof. Carell C. Untalan highlighted career prospects in studying Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Mauban Vice Mayor Alween Sardea also delivered a short message, acknowledging how the university has positively shaped many students and alumni.
To fill the atmosphere with energy, the university’s Basic Education Dance Troupe showed their talents through a dance performance. John Kristoffer Tibor, a faculty member from the College of Arts and Sciences and Anthony Ramos of the Basic Education Department also made a fun atmosphere for the event as hosts of the program.
