CCJC conducts morning formation and inspection for fourth-year criminology students

The College of Criminal Justice and Criminology (CCJC) held a Morning Formation and Inspection for its fourth-year students in front of the CCJC Building. The activity served as a key preparatory step before students begin their on-the-job training (OJT) at their designated stations.

The formation and inspection aimed to assess students’ readiness for the demands of law enforcement, ensuring they possess the discipline, professionalism, and protocol adherence required in the field. The exercise was designed to help students transition smoothly from theoretical learning to practical application, which is critical for their future careers.

The students demonstrated precision and attention to detail as they underwent the inspection, showcasing their understanding of fundamental law enforcement procedures. Their composed presence and proper attire reflected the thorough training they have received, highlighting the importance of discipline and preparedness in the profession.

“This formation is not only a test of our knowledge but also our readiness to serve as future law enforcement professionals,” said Dr. Henendina Lagumen, dean of CCJC. “At CCJC, we ensure that our students are equipped with both academic and practical skills to face the challenges of their careers.”

The activity emphasized CCJC’s commitment to providing hands-on experience that prepares students for their future roles in the criminal justice system. It is part of the college’s broader strategy to produce graduates who are not only well-versed in theory but also confident and competent in applying their knowledge in real-world situations.

This initiative supports MSEUF’s mission to produce professionals who are ready to serve and contribute meaningfully to society. By prioritizing practical exposure, CCJC ensures that its graduates are fully prepared to serve their communities with integrity and excellence.

The event aligns with the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 4 – Quality Education: The formation and inspection helped reinforce the practical application of theoretical knowledge, contributing to the comprehensive education that prepares students for real-world challenges.
  • SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions: By focusing on professionalism and discipline, the initiative nurtures future law enforcement officers who are committed to upholding justice and contributing to strong, accountable institutions.
  • SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals: The event demonstrated the collaboration between the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology, its students, and the local law enforcement community, enhancing the students’ professional development through real-world exposure and mentorship.
