In collaboration with representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine National Police (PNP), and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) College of Criminal Justice and Criminology conducted a curriculum review, May 31.

The review focused on evaluating and updating the criminology curriculum to align it with the standards of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and meet the evolving requirements of the Criminology Board.

The law enforcement agencies contributed their expertise, providing insights into the latest developments and challenges in the field to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective.

By incorporating industry feedback, the review aimed to prepare students for real-world applications in law enforcement, corrections, and public safety. The updated curriculum is expected to equip future criminologists with the knowledge and skills needed to address contemporary issues in the profession.

This initiative supported Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 by maintaining quality and inclusive education, SDG 16 by equipping students with skills to promote peace and justice, and SDG 17 by strengthening partnerships with law enforcement agencies to ensure the curriculum reflects current industry practices.
