Creativity Takes the Spotlight at CAFA’s Appliqué Fashion Runway
Design met artistry at the Appliqué Fashion Runway as students from the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation unveiled their original fashion creations on December 12 at the CAFA Building.
Organized by the Fine Arts Society, the much-anticipated runway show invited the Envergan community to witness a visual feast of hand-crafted dresses and statement pieces designed and made by CAFA students. Each outfit reflected not only creativity and craftsmanship but also the students’ developing design philosophies as future architects and fine arts professionals.
From intricately stitched patterns to bold silhouettes, the pieces on display celebrated the fusion of technical skill and artistic expression. The event showcased not just fashion design but the broader possibilities of visual arts as a platform for storytelling, cultural expression, and innovation.
“This runway show is more than just an exhibit of talent; it’s an opportunity for our students to express their ideas and identities through wearable art,” said a representative from the Fine Arts Society. “We are proud to present their hard work, imagination, and passion.”
The Appliqué Runway was part of CAFA’s ongoing efforts to nurture the holistic development of students by integrating hands-on design experience with real-world creative exposure.
