MSEUF Brings the Spirit of MassKara to Pasayahan Festival 2025
The streets are alive with color, music, and festivity as Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) joins the highly anticipated Pasayahan Festival 2025 with a show-stopping float inspired by Bacolod’s world-renowned MassKara Festival.
This year’s float entry is a vibrant tribute to the Filipino spirit—resilient, joyful, and endlessly creative. Conceptualized and built by the talented Fine Arts students from the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA), the float bursts with the iconic smiling masks, dazzling costumes, and kaleidoscopic elements that have made the MassKara Festival a symbol of hope and positivity in the country.
Under the guidance of Dean Ar. Jennifer S. Sanchez and Community Extension Services Coordinator Prof. Melba Sardea, the students poured in weeks of hard work and creativity to bring the float to life. Their artistry was complemented by the skilled hands and support of the General Services Department, which helped ensure the seamless execution of the float’s structural and visual design.
As the float makes its way through Lucena City Proper during the Pasayahan Grand Parade, it carries not only the spirit of another beloved festival but also the pride of the Envergan community. This collaboration is a beautiful reflection of the University’s commitment to cultural celebration, artistic excellence, and community involvement.
