SAFETY GUIDELINES AND PROTOCOLS CREATED BY THIS PANDEMIC: THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RULES, LAWS AND REGULATIONS IN BARANGAY ISABANG, TAYABAS CITY

Abstract

This study determined safety guidelines and protocols created by this pandemic: implementing rules, laws, and regulations in barangay Isabang, Tayabas City, through descriptive research methods and a self-structured questionnaire. Based on the findings and conclusions, most of the rules, laws, and regulations implemented in barangay Isabang Tayabas City during the pandemic came from IATF or Inter-Agency Task Force amended resolution. As the barangay Isabang Tayabas City resident follows the safety guidelines and protocols created by this pandemic in terms of rules, laws, and regulations, the respondents found the police officers highly competent in implementing orders, in terms of communications, the respondents were highly competent of proper procedures regarding the isolation and detention of infected community members; in terms of health and safety, in ensuring that the residents must follow the guidelines, and did not break the law; in terms of staffing, in canceling their leaves non-essential travel, and repurposing of officer flex time, in terms of responding to emergencies, in providing a response that is fast and effective while safe not only for other infected members but also to themselves; in terms of Police Officers Personality, they strictly enforce pandemic safety guidelines and protocols.
