EFFECTIVENESS OF ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGNS BY SARIAYA MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION

Completed2023

Abstract

Every effort is made to ensure a campaign is enforced and implemented effectively in all jurisdictions. One initiative taken by state and municipal governments to combat drug use is the drug prevention campaign program. The researchers behind this study wanted to learn more about the Sariaya MPS's drug prevention initiatives and their effectiveness in reaching the local population. The findings of this study should aid in spreading drug awareness information and understanding. The methodological approach adopted in this investigation was quantitative. Officers from the Sariaya Municipal Police Station were randomly selected to participate in the study. Fifty people were asked to complete the survey and offer information for the analysis. Information and data were gathered primarily using a questionnaire. The results reveal the anti-drug campaigns operated by the Sariaya MPS regarding education and prevention. The sampled respondents have given the Sariaya MPS's educational and preventative efforts a favorable overall effect rating, with a weighted mean score of 4.98, equivalent to Strongly Agree. Among the findings, a weighted mean score of 4.60 indicates that most respondents are well-versed in the goals and challenges of Sariaya MPS's anti-drug efforts. Researchers determined that the Sariaya MPS successfully designed, enacted, and executed measures to counteract the rise of drug addiction within their territories, likely to cause uncertainty for many people. The preset study proposes expanding the awareness, efficiency, and transparency of implementing the Anti-Drug Campaign of Sariaya MPS. Regarding broader anti-drug programs, more study is also advised.
