Zumbook 2025 promotes literacy through books, volunteerism

Zumbook 2025: Tulay ng Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa brought together KAMFILAN and LibCom in a literacy and outreach initiative that promoted reading, information literacy and community involvement through book donations and volunteerism.
The project aimed to make reading materials more accessible while encouraging a culture of learning and service in the community. Through the donation of books and the participation of student volunteers, the initiative created opportunities for beneficiaries to develop a stronger appreciation for reading and lifelong learning.
Zumbook 2025 also highlighted the value of information literacy by encouraging participants to see books as tools for knowledge, growth and empowerment. Each donated book symbolized hope and opened new opportunities for learning among members of the community.
Through volunteerism, the project strengthened the involvement of students in meaningful outreach work. It also fostered collaboration between organizations committed to education, literacy and community development.
By combining book sharing and service, Zumbook 2025 became a bridge toward a future filled with hope, learning and brighter possibilities for the community.
The project reflected MSEUF’s commitment to community service and student-centered learning by allowing students to take part in a meaningful literacy initiative. It also upheld the core values of Service, Mindfulness and Unity as KAMFILAN and LibCom worked together to share knowledge, inspire hope and support community growth.
