The Librarians Association of Quezon Province-Lucena Inc., in partnership with LIB.COM, conducted Zumbook 2025: “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa” on Oct. 26, at the CEFI FORVM Gym of Calayan Educational Foundation Inc. in celebration of National Book Week.

The outreach initiative aimed to collect books and instructional materials for libraries damaged by calamities and to support the development of community and public school libraries across Quezon Province.

The event encouraged individuals, organizations and partner institutions to donate books that could help expand learning opportunities for students and communities with limited access to educational resources.

Through the combined efforts of students, educators and partner groups, Zumbook 2025 promoted literacy, education and volunteerism.

The project gathered more than 100 book donations from various institutions and organizations.

Organizers said the donations are expected to benefit schools and communities in need of learning materials, especially those affected by recent calamities.

The activity highlighted the importance of collective action in sustaining a culture of reading and ensuring that access to knowledge remains available despite challenges faced by local communities.

LIB.COM officers thanked donors, volunteers and partner organizations, including AGHAM, CEE, Mathematics Society and KAMFILAN, for supporting the success of the activity.

Through Zumbook 2025, LIB.COM reaffirmed its commitment to literacy, social responsibility and community development.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Service, Unity and Excellence by encouraging students and partner organizations to work together in promoting literacy and supporting communities in need. It also supported transformative learning by giving students meaningful opportunities to practice volunteerism, resource sharing and community engagement beyond the classroom.
