HMS supports mental health awareness event through creative event setup


The Hospitality Management Society supported a mental health awareness event at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation by helping create a warm and welcoming environment that encouraged emotional well-being, self-care and open conversations among participants.
The event featured informative talks, interactive activities and creative presentations that promoted a positive and practical approach to mental health. It aimed to help participants better understand emotional wellness and the importance of supporting themselves and others.
Through the sessions, attendees learned practical ways to manage stress, practice self-care and extend support to peers. The activity also helped create a safe space where participants could feel informed, supported and connected to a community that values mental well-being.
HMS officers and members contributed to the event by designing and arranging the stage skirting and decorations. Their work enhanced the overall atmosphere of the venue and helped set a calming and positive tone for the program.
The organization’s contribution reflected its attention to detail, creativity and commitment to supporting meaningful university activities. By helping create an inviting and visually appealing space, HMS improved the overall experience of participants and strengthened the impact of the event.
The activity also gave HMS members practical experience in event preparation, design and teamwork. Their involvement showed how student organizations can support advocacy-centered programs through service, creativity and collaboration.
