MSEUF student groups unite for tree-planting activity
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation held a tree-planting activity on Feb. 10, at the MSEUF Forest Research Site to promote environmental sustainability, community service and ecological stewardship.
The activity brought together the University Collegiate Student Council, Office of Student Affairs and Services, KAMFILAN and various student organizations in a shared effort to support environmental protection.
Participants planted dwarf coconut trees as part of the university’s continuing commitment to greener spaces and responsible environmental action.
Through the initiative, students strengthened their awareness of ecological responsibility while taking part in direct community service. The activity also encouraged unity among student leaders and organizations as they worked together toward a common environmental goal.
The project highlighted the importance of collective action in preserving natural resources and promoting long-term ecological balance.
By participating in the tree-planting activity, student organizations helped advance MSEUF’s commitment to sustainability and meaningful service beyond the classroom.
The activity reflected MSEUF’s mission of forming socially responsible individuals through community service and learning by doing. It also upheld the core values of Mindfulness, Service, Unity and Fortitude as students worked together to protect the environment and support a more sustainable future.
