TMC extends help to local shelter in Sharing Love initiative

The Technology Math Club (TMC) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted its “Sharing Love” outreach project on April 11 at ASPIN Tunay at Tapat, an animal shelter in Barangay Bocohan, to support the care and welfare of rescued animals.
Seven TMC members participated in the activity, donating cleaning supplies to help maintain sanitation in the shelter, which houses more than 100 dogs and over 30 cats. The initiative aimed to assist the shelter in providing a safe and healthy environment for abandoned animals under its care.
Organizers said cleanliness is essential in ensuring the well-being of the animals, especially given the shelter’s large population. The donated supplies are expected to support ongoing sanitation efforts and improve overall conditions within the facility.
The shelter’s owners expressed gratitude for the assistance, noting that the donations will significantly help in maintaining proper hygiene. In addition to providing support, the activity allowed student volunteers to interact with the animals and observe firsthand the responsibilities involved in animal care.
Through the outreach, participants also gained a deeper appreciation for compassion and accountability in caring for animals. Organizers emphasized the importance of community involvement in promoting animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
