CAS Social Sciences Society elects new officers for School Year 2026-2027
Through a democratic voting process held on at AEC Room 106, the CAS Social Sciemces Society elected its new officers for School Year 2026-2027 with active participation from the organization’s members and advisers, July 17.
The election activity, conducted from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., began with the outgoing administration’s presentation of its accomplishment report for the second semester of School Year 2025-2026. The report highlighted the programs and activities implemented during the previous term.
The outgoing officers also presented a financial report, giving members an overview of the organization’s current budget and annual expenses. The reports reflected the organization’s commitment to transparency, accountability and responsible leadership before the transition to the incoming officers.
Following the presentations, the election proper proceeded through a fair and transparent voting process. Members actively participated in selecting the student leaders who will guide the CAS Social Sciences Society throughout School Year 2026-2027.
The activity concluded with the official proclamation of the newly elected officers, marking the start of a new leadership term for the organization. The successful conduct of the election highlighted the importance of member involvement, democratic participation and shared responsibility in strengthening student organizations.
Through the election, the CAS Social Sciences Society established a foundation for the continued implementation of its programs and activities while encouraging greater engagement and collaboration among its members.
