AOMS welcomes new students during Freshmen Walk 2026

Promoting student engagement, leadership and belonging, the Association of Operations Management Students joined the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation community in welcoming first-year students, transferees and new enrollees during Freshmen Walk 2026 on July 31 at the Lucena campus.
The organization participated in the activity to introduce its role within the College of Business and Accountancy and connect with incoming students interested in or enrolled in the Operations Management program.
AOMS members carried the organization’s official tarpaulin along the route leading to the MSEUF Gymnasium, representing the Operations Management program alongside other student groups. The College of Business and Accountancy Department Student Council provided the tarpaulin used during the event.
The Freshmen Walk also allowed AOMS members to interact with other student organizations under the college. Their participation highlighted camaraderie and cooperation among student leaders while helping create a welcoming environment for the University’s newest students.
Through the activity, AOMS strengthened its connection with prospective members and encouraged incoming Operations Management students to participate in future organizational programs. The organization also reaffirmed its commitment to promoting leadership, collaboration and active involvement in the college community.
The activity supported the University’s commitment to student-centered learning by helping new students develop connections and discover opportunities for involvement beyond the classroom. It also reflected the core values of Service and Unity by encouraging student leaders and organizations to work together in welcoming and supporting new members of the Envergan community.
- SDG 4: Quality Education — The activity introduced new students to organizational opportunities that support leadership, engagement and personal development throughout their University experience.
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — The participation of student organizations and the college student council demonstrated collaboration in welcoming and engaging new students.
