The College of Criminal Justice and Criminology of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation will hold a Teachers’ Day celebration on Oct. 6, 2025, at the CCJC Grounds to honor faculty members and strengthen connections between students and educators through student-led activities.

The Criminology Martial Arts Society, the Student Council and the CCJC First Responders will organize the tribute as a collaborative effort among student organizations.

Organizers said the event will create meaningful opportunities for appreciation by encouraging students to express gratitude toward their instructors through interactive activities during the flag ceremony.

“The celebration will serve as a simple but meaningful way to thank our teachers for their dedication and guidance,” a student organizer said. “We want them to feel valued for the impact they make in our lives every day.”

The program will also aim to foster stronger engagement and interaction between faculty and students, helping build a more supportive and inclusive academic environment.

Organizers added that the initiative will strengthen the sense of community within the college by bringing faculty and students together in a shared moment of recognition and respect.

The activity reflects the University’s core values of Service, Unity and Mindfulness by promoting appreciation, respect and meaningful relationships within the academic community. It also supports student-centered learning by encouraging active student participation in recognizing the role of educators in their development.
