Students of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation joined an Office of Student Affairs and Services-led clean-up drive on campus to promote environmental responsibility and strengthen student participation in maintaining clean and safe shared spaces.

The activity encouraged students to take an active role in caring for the university environment through hands-on community service. Participants helped clean selected campus areas and showed the importance of discipline, cooperation and shared responsibility in sustaining a healthy learning environment.

Through the initiative, OSAS reinforced the value of student involvement in activities that go beyond the classroom. The clean-up drive also served as a practical learning experience that reminded students that environmental care begins with simple, consistent actions within their immediate community.

The initiative aligned with Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s mission of developing socially responsible individuals through student-centered and experiential learning. It also reflected the core values of Mindfulness, Service, Excellence, Unity and Fortitude by encouraging students to work together in maintaining campus cleanliness and environmental care.

  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being – The activity supported a cleaner and healthier campus environment for students, faculty and staff.
  • SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – The clean-up drive encouraged shared responsibility in maintaining safe, clean and sustainable learning spaces.
  • SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production – The initiative promoted proper waste management and responsible environmental practices.
  • SDG 13: Climate Action – The activity helped build student awareness on environmental care and the role of collective action in addressing ecological concerns.
