To strengthen students’ understanding of taxation, Junior Philippine Association of Management Accountants (JPAMA) and Enverga University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (EUJPIA) participated in TANGLAW Wave 6: Navigating the Tax Landscape, an academic session focused on Value-Added Tax (VAT).

The session was facilitated by Ms. Mariella E. Perlas, Certified Public Accountant, who discussed VAT concepts using practical and real-life examples.

Students engaged actively in discussions, asking questions and sharing insights throughout the session.

The activity encouraged learners to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world tax applications.

It also created an interactive learning environment that promoted curiosity and critical thinking.

Participants gained a clearer understanding of VAT and its relevance in the field of accountancy.

The session provided exposure to professional insights that supported academic learning and motivation.

Overall, the activity strengthened students’ foundation in taxation and promoted active participation in academic discussions.
