Mechanical engineering officers strengthen planning skills at LEAPS workshop

Strengthening its organizational planning and leadership capacity, the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers–MSEUF Student Unit participated in the Leaders Advancement Programs and Services Planning Workshop: Student Organizations Assembly on July 28 at the Alumni Building’s second floor.

The Office of Student Affairs and Services organized the workshop, which oriented student leaders on University policies, organizational management, activity planning and leadership responsibilities.

The organization’s president and secretary represented the PSME student unit during the assembly. They joined officers from other recognized student organizations in exchanging best practices and exploring opportunities for collaboration throughout the academic year.

The workshop provided the representatives with practical knowledge and insights that they will share with the organization’s officers and members. The lessons gained will support more organized planning, stronger coordination and effective implementation of future activities.

The assembly also strengthened partnerships among student organizations and encouraged responsible leadership in developing programs that serve their members and the wider University community.

Through its participation, the PSME student unit reinforced its commitment to continuous learning, organizational excellence and meaningful service to Mechanical Engineering students.

The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to student-centered and outcomes-oriented education by developing practical competencies in leadership, planning and organizational management. It also reflected the core values of Service, Excellence and Unity by promoting responsible leadership, collaboration and well-managed student programs.
