PolSci Society join forces with SocSciSoc in Intramurals Booth Venture

The Political Science Society of the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, in collaboration with the CAS Social Sciences Society, successfully operated a vibrant and engaging booth during the Intramural Games bringing energy, creativity, and school spirit to the university-wide event. The activity strengthened the organization’s commitment to student engagement and entrepreneurial spirit through direct interaction with the student body, Nov. 6-7.
The opportunity to participate in the booth fair during the intramurals was made possible through the University Central Student Council (UCSC), with the approval and support of the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS). This platform allowed student organizations to showcase their initiatives, manage logistics, and foster a sense of community amidst the athletic competitions.
The booth offered a variety of items that quickly attracted students and participants, including freshly brewed coffee, homemade pastries, and creatively designed keychains. These treats and souvenirs provided not only essential refreshments for the "Envergan" crowd but also a memorable experience for those who visited seeking a break from the festivities.
The Political Science Society played an active role in the planning, preparation, and operation of the booth, working closely with the CAS Social Sciences Society to ensure its success. Their collaboration showcased strong teamwork, organization, and dedication, making the booth one of the commercial and social highlights of the two-day event.
Students and attendees flocked to the booth for a quick boost of energy, contributing to a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The initiative served as an opportunity for both organizations to strengthen internal camaraderie while promoting active citizenship and school pride during the intramurals.
Organizers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the booth through their visits and purchases, as well as to the officers and members whose hard work and passion made the activity a success. The joint effort reflected the spirit of unity and collaboration within the university community.
The activity reflects the University’s core values of Service and Unity by fostering active engagement in student-led initiatives. It also supports experiential learning by allowing students to apply organizational and leadership skills in a real-world setting, developing a sense of social responsibility and community involvement.
