Political Sciences Society conducts PoliSync; unites Political Science students through leadership and democratic participation
Bringing 107 Political Science students together to strengthen organizational unity and promote democratic student leadership, the Political Sciences Society (PSS) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted its General Assembly 2026 and election of officers titled "PoliSync", at AEC Rooms 105 and 106, July 17.
As the organization’s official annual gathering, PoliSync 2026 provided members with updates on the Society’s accomplishments, policies, upcoming programs and future initiatives. The assembly also welcomed freshmen and newly enrolled Political Science students, giving them an opportunity to connect with their peers and develop a stronger sense of belonging within the academic community.
A major part of the activity was the election of PSS officers for Academic Year 2026-2027. The election process included an orientation, plebiscite, proclamation of winners and oath-taking ceremony, allowing members to participate actively in selecting their new student leaders.
Through the transparent and orderly conduct of the election, the organization highlighted the importance of responsible leadership, accountability and active citizenship among Political Science students. These values support the discipline’s emphasis on understanding governance, public service and civic participation.
Beyond the electoral activities, PoliSync 2026 featured organizational presentations and interactive activities that encouraged collaboration, camaraderie and organizational pride among members. The gathering helped strengthen engagement within the Society while providing student leaders with opportunities to develop leadership competencies and reinforce their commitment to serve the organization and the wider community.
The activity marked the continuation of PSS’s efforts to build an engaged student community and prepare its members for meaningful participation in organizational and academic initiatives throughout Academic Year 2026-2027.
PoliSync 2026 supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to student-centered learning by providing Political Science students with practical opportunities to experience leadership, decision-making and organizational governance. The activity also reflected the university’s core values of Unity, Service and Excellence by promoting collaboration, accountability and responsible student participation.
Through activities that develop leadership and civic awareness, the initiative contributed to the formation of graduates with leadership skills, professionalism and a commitment to serving their communities.
