The Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers participated in a coordination meeting on Feb. 2 at the Alumni Center to help prepare for the Tree Planting Activity organized by the University Collegiate Student Council for the university’s Foundation Week celebration.

The meeting gathered representatives from accredited student organizations to discuss implementation plans, assigned responsibilities and objectives for the environmental initiative scheduled on Feb. 10.

Organizers said the activity aimed to encourage environmental stewardship among students and promote collective participation in sustainability-centered programs within the university community.

They also highlighted the role of tree planting initiatives in supporting environmental conservation and long-term ecological awareness.

During the meeting, participating organizations reviewed logistical preparations and collaborative efforts needed to ensure the successful conduct of the activity.

The initiative also gave student leaders an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and engagement through community-oriented programs.

Through its participation, the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers continued to support university-led initiatives that promote environmental responsibility, collaboration and active student involvement beyond the classroom.

The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Mindfulness, Service and Unity by encouraging students to take part in shared action for environmental care. It also supported transformative and student-centered learning by giving student leaders practical opportunities to serve the community and contribute to sustainability efforts.
