PIIE MSEUF-SC joins the OSAlubong 2026; welcomes freshmen and students
Creating a fun and engaging environment that encouraged students to begin their college journey with a sense of belonging, The College of Engineering welcomed incoming freshmen and transferee students through its Toy Story 5-themed booth during OSAlubong School Year 2026–2027.
Inspired by the values of friendship, teamwork, and adventure, the booth offered free pancakes, candies, and themed stickers to students. It also featured interactive games that encouraged participants to meet new friends, engage with the college community, and enjoy their first experience as Engineering students.
Beyond providing refreshments and entertainment, the booth served as a welcoming space where new students could connect with peers and experience the supportive and vibrant atmosphere of the College of Engineering.
The OSALUBONG celebration drew a steady number of visitors despite many first-year students having already begun attending classes. Students actively participated in the games, enjoyed the booth's giveaways, and interacted with members of the college community throughout the event.
The activity provided organizers with an opportunity to welcome and engage with incoming students, helping ease their transition into college life while creating a positive and memorable first experience in the College of Engineering.
Through initiatives such as OSALUBONG, the College of Engineering continues to foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages students to build friendships, participate in campus life, and confidently begin their academic journey.
The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation's commitment to student-centered and transformative learning by helping new students transition into university life through meaningful engagement and community building. It also reflected the University's core values of Service, Unity, and Mindfulness by fostering a welcoming environment where students could develop connections and feel a sense of belonging from the start of their academic journey.
