MSEUF seminar to promote HIV awareness, cyber safety and student protection

The Office of Student Affairs and Services at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in Lucena City, Quezon tapped CMAS alumnus Erick Estelar as resource speaker for an upcoming educational seminar on sexual health, HIV awareness, cybercrime, cyberbullying and cybersex harassment to strengthen students’ awareness, rights and protection in physical and digital spaces.
The seminar will provide students with timely information on personal safety, responsible digital behavior and health awareness. It will also help participants better understand issues that affect young people in both face-to-face and online environments.
Through Estelar’s involvement, OSAS aims to give students a meaningful learning experience anchored on real-world concerns. The activity will discuss ways students can protect themselves, respect others and seek proper support when facing health-related or digital safety concerns.
The seminar forms part of OSAS’ continuing student development initiatives that promote informed decision-making, responsible citizenship and safer campus communities.
By addressing topics such as HIV awareness, cybercrime, cyberbullying and cybersex harassment, the activity will encourage students to become more mindful of their rights and responsibilities while navigating today’s increasingly connected world.
The activity supports MSEUF’s mission of forming socially responsible individuals through student-centered and transformative learning. It also reflects the University’s core values of Mindfulness, Service, Excellence and Fortitude by promoting awareness, protection, informed choices and respect for human dignity.
