CCJC First Responders introduce leadership and service opportunities to criminology students

Promoting student leadership, volunteerism and community service, the CCJC First Responders introduced its programs and opportunities for involvement to first-year criminology students during a student orientation.

The organization presented its mission, vision, objectives, organizational structure, officers, advisers, members and accomplished activities. The presentation helped students understand the organization’s purpose and contributions to the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation community.

The orientation also highlighted the CCJC First Responders’ role in promoting leadership, volunteerism, public service and emergency preparedness. Students learned how the organization supports personal development while preparing its members to serve communities through various programs and initiatives.

The presentation provided first-year students with an overview of how they could participate in organizational activities and gain practical experiences beyond the classroom.

The CCJC First Responders concluded the activity by inviting first-year criminology students to participate in its future programs and activities. The organization encouraged them to become active members of campus life and contribute to community service initiatives.

The activity supported the University’s commitment to developing graduates with leadership skills and professionalism through student-centered and experiential learning. By encouraging active participation, volunteerism and service, the orientation also reinforced the core values of Service, Unity and Excellence.
