Natural Sciences Society greets students with Gate 4 welcome banner
As part of the Office of Student Affairs' OSAlubong initiative for the opening of Academic Year 2026-2027, the Natural Sciences Society welcomed freshmen, transferees, and returning students of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation by installing a welcome banner at the University's Gate 4 entrance, July 13.
The project, titled OSAlubong, was a special assignment of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) that encouraged student organizations to help welcome members of the Enverga University community as they returned to campus for the new academic year.
Organization officers and members installed the "Welcome, Envergans!" banner at the Gate 4 entrance to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for students entering the university. The display aimed to promote campus spirit and encourage student engagement at the start of the academic year.
The Natural Sciences Society funded the project through its internal funds, allocating P560 for the production and installation of the welcome banner.
Through its participation in the OSAlubong initiative, the organization contributed to the university's efforts to provide a positive and welcoming campus environment for both new and returning students.
The OSAlubong initiative reflects Enverga University's commitment to fostering a welcoming and student-centered campus environment. By encouraging student organizations to participate, the activity promoted the University's core values of Service and Unity while supporting transformative and student-centered learning through active student involvement in campus life.
