MWE, MASTECH host Y2K Games for MSEUF faculty, employees
MSEUF Wildcat Esports, in partnership with the MSEUF Association of Multimedia Artists and Technologists, hosted Y2K Games on Feb. 13 at the iLounge to promote work-life balance, recreation and interdepartmental collaboration among faculty and employees.
The Human Resources Department funded the special in-campus project, which gathered about 50 participants from the university workforce.
The recreational esports event featured a mix of nostalgic early 2000s games, including Counter-Strike and Warcraft, alongside modern competitive titles such as MLBB and Tekken 8.
Faculty members and employees actively participated in the games and enjoyed a lively atmosphere designed to give them a meaningful break from work.
The activity also provided participants an opportunity to relax, reconnect and build stronger relationships with colleagues outside their regular office and classroom settings.
Through the event, MWE and MASTECH supported a healthy campus culture that values teamwork, recreation and employee well-being.
The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Unity, Mindfulness and Service by encouraging collaboration, well-being and meaningful connection among faculty and employees. It also supported a holistic university environment by recognizing the importance of balance, morale and positive workplace relationships.
