Wildcats Esports supports typhoon victims through campus donation effort
Lucena City—MSEUF Wildcats Esports participated in “Typhoon Tulungan: Bagyong Bayanihan,” a donation drive held on Nov. 14 to support families affected by Super Typhoon Uwan.
The activity was organized by the Honor Society of Lambda Kappa Phi in partnership with the CCMS-DSC and the MSEUF Association of Multimedia Artists and Technologists. Wildcats Esports mobilized its members to collect essential items, including food, water, clothing, and hygiene supplies, for affected communities.
The donations were formally turned over to former Ibabang Dupay Sangguniang Kabataan chairman Rolden Garcia, together with representatives from HLKP and CCMS-DSC, to ensure proper distribution to beneficiaries.
Wildcats Esports President Daryll Cris Celestial thanked contributors and emphasized the group’s commitment to service, noting that the organization extends beyond competitive gaming to civic engagement.
The initiative benefited families impacted by Super Typhoon Uwan and highlighted the participating organizations’ shared commitment to social responsibility and community service.
The activity reflects the University’s commitment to Service and Unity by mobilizing students to respond to community needs. It also demonstrates Mindfulness and Fortitude as organizations work together to provide timely assistance during crises.
