Mathematics Society participates in the annual Tree Planting Activity for Foundation Week 2026
As part of the Foundation Week Celebration, The Mathematics Society of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation joined the university's annual tree-planting activity at MSEUF Forest Research Site, Feb 10.
Held annually during Foundation Week, the activity brought together alumni and members of various university organizations to support environmental conservation through the planting of coconut saplings provided by the university. The initiative encouraged participants to give back to the community while contributing to the preservation and rehabilitation of the environment.
Representing the Mathematics Society, student members joined other MSEUF organizations in planting saplings and promoting environmental awareness through active participation. The activity encouraged participants to reflect on the impact of human actions on nature and the importance of individual and collective efforts to help protect the environment.
The tree-planting initiative also strengthened teamwork, responsibility, and community involvement among students and alumni. By working together toward a common environmental goal, participants demonstrated their commitment to sustainable practices and civic engagement.
Through its participation in the annual activity, the Mathematics Society reaffirmed its support for university initiatives that promote environmental stewardship and community service.
