The Mathematics Society of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted its outreach project, “MATHutulungan Ka Namin! Donation of Mathematics Learning Kit,” in 2025 at Lucena City National High School to provide educational assistance to selected high school students.

The community outreach activity aimed to support learners through the donation of mathematics learning kits designed to improve their academic preparedness and engagement in mathematics. The initiative also addressed the need for basic educational resources among students.

Ten members of the Mathematics Society participated in the project, reflecting the organization’s commitment to service and community involvement. The activity also gave aspiring educators an opportunity to extend meaningful support beyond the classroom.

Organizers said the group gathered enough materials and resources to benefit 30 students. Each recipient received a complete learning kit containing essential materials for mathematics classes.

Students expressed appreciation for the assistance, noting that the donated materials would help them in their studies. Their positive response highlighted the value of education support programs in addressing resource gaps among learners.

The project strengthened the Mathematics Society’s dedication to fostering learning, community engagement and educational development through service-oriented initiatives.

The outreach project aligned with Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s mission of developing socially responsible individuals through student-centered and experiential learning. It also reflected the core values of Mindfulness, Service, Excellence and Unity by encouraging students to use their knowledge and resources to support learners in the wider community.
