LIB.COM partnered with the CAS Quezon Literature Festival for a book donation drive on April 8 at the AEC Little Theater to promote literacy, resource sharing and community engagement.
The initiative encouraged students to donate books they no longer use to help expand access to learning materials in community institutions.
Collected donations were turned over to LIB.COM and will be distributed to a selected school library or public library.
The drive gathered 21 books, reflecting student support for literacy and community service.
Organizers said even small contributions can provide valuable educational resources to communities in need.
Through the project, LIB.COM strengthened its commitment to promoting reading, encouraging responsible resource sharing and supporting student-led community initiatives.
The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Service, Excellence and Unity by encouraging students to share learning resources and support literacy efforts beyond the campus. It also supported transformative learning by helping students practice generosity, social responsibility and community involvement through a simple but meaningful act.
- SDG 4: Quality Education – The book donation drive supported access to learning materials and promoted literacy.
- SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities – The initiative helped provide educational resources to communities that may benefit from additional books.
- SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production – The project encouraged the reuse and redistribution of books instead of leaving them unused.
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – The activity showed collaboration between LIB.COM and the CAS Quezon Literature Festival in advancing literacy and community service.
