LIB.COM participated in OSALUBONG 2025 on July 21, by decorating Banyuhay Bridge with colorful banderitas to warmly welcome freshmen and new students to Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.

Spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs, OSALUBONG 2025 gathered accredited student organizations across the university to support the welcoming activity and help new students feel more connected to the Envergan community.

Aside from the decorations, participating organizations were also assigned to help desks by the Office of Student Organizations to assist freshmen and new students in navigating the campus.

LIB.COM was stationed at the AE Building, together with other academic organizations from the College of Education. Through the help desk, members assisted students with directions and provided support as they became familiar with the university environment.

The activity allowed LIB.COM members to take part in a meaningful university tradition that promoted service, unity and school spirit. It also strengthened student organization involvement in creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for incoming students.

Through OSALUBONG 2025, LIB.COM helped new Envergans begin their academic journey with warmth, guidance and a sense of belonging.

The activity reflected MSEUF’s commitment to student-centered education by helping freshmen and new students feel welcomed, guided and supported as they entered university life. It also upheld the core values of Service, Unity and Mindfulness as student organizations worked together to create a caring and inclusive campus environment.

  • SDG 4: Quality Education — The activity supported student engagement and helped create a positive learning environment for new students.
  • SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities — The welcoming activity strengthened campus identity, belonging and community spirit.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — OSALUBONG 2025 showed collaboration among OSAS, the Office of Student Organizations and accredited student organizations.
