LIB.COM joins 79th anniversary tree planting activity
LIB.COM participated in a tree planting activity organized by the University Collegiate Student Council on Feb. 10, at the May San Lorenzo Forest Research Site in Villa Hulyana, Lucena City, as part of the 79th Foundation Anniversary celebration of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.
The activity formed part of the university’s continuing efforts to promote climate action, sustainable land use and environmental responsibility among students.
LIB.COM members joined other participants in planting trees at the site, contributing to efforts that support biodiversity, cleaner air and long-term ecological care.
The initiative also fostered environmental awareness and strengthened collaboration within the university community.
Through the activity, participants showed how collective action can help address environmental challenges and support a healthier future.
By joining the anniversary tree planting, LIB.COM reinforced its commitment to service, sustainability and community involvement.
The activity reflected Enverga University’s core values of Mindfulness, Service and Unity by encouraging students to care for the environment and work together for a shared ecological purpose. It also supported transformative learning by giving students practical opportunities to participate in sustainability efforts beyond the classroom.
