CCJC student groups promote nutrition through vegetable planting

Promoting healthy living, environmental responsibility and teamwork, the CCJC First Responders joined fellow student organizations in the “Kalusugan, Kayamanan, Bayanihan” vegetable planting activity as part of the college’s Nutrition Month celebration.
The CCJC Student Council organized the initiative in collaboration with the CCJC First Responders, Juris Peritus Criminis and the Criminology Martial Arts Society.
Participants planted various vegetable seedlings in a designated area within the CCJC Department to support the college’s Nutrition Month activities and promote sustainable gardening.
The activity highlighted the importance of proper nutrition and collective action in creating a healthier and more environmentally conscious campus community. It also provided students with an opportunity to apply teamwork and community responsibility through hands-on participation.
Through their collaboration, the participating student organizations demonstrated their commitment to service, student wellness and environmental stewardship.
The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to transformative and student-centered learning by allowing students to apply teamwork, leadership and community responsibility beyond the classroom. It also reflected the core values of Service, Unity and Mindfulness through collaboration, wellness promotion and care for the environment.
