Juris Peritus Criminis conducts annual applicants orientation
The Juris Peritus Criminis welcomed 40 new aspirants during its annual New Applicants Orientation on Aug. 29 at Room 201 of the CCJC Building.
The orientation aimed to guide incoming members on the organization’s mission, vision, and core values. JPC officers briefed the aspirants on expectations, responsibilities, and opportunities associated with membership in the criminology student organization.
During the session, JPC leaders presented the group’s activities and internal rules to ensure that applicants are well-informed before formally joining. The orientation served as an avenue for aspirants to gain a clear understanding of the organization’s purpose and the roles they may assume as future members.
Organizers said the activity helps prepare aspirants for active participation in JPC initiatives by instilling the organization’s values from the start. The event was facilitated by JPC officers and noted by advisers Hazel Ann C. Asoy and Aimie P. Abrenica. No expenses were incurred for the activity.
The orientation supports Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by preparing students for responsible leadership and active organizational involvement. It reflects the core values of Excellence through leadership formation, Mindfulness through values orientation, Unity by fostering a sense of belonging, and Service by encouraging students to engage meaningfully in academic and co-curricular activities.
