Participants receive certificates and prizes
The Junior Philippine Association of Management Accountants, in partnership with MSEUF Wildcat E-sports, conducted a virtual Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and League of Legends fundraising tournament to promote camaraderie, teamwork and sportsmanship among college students.
The activity gave students a competitive platform to showcase their gaming skills in a healthy and engaging online environment. It also strengthened collaboration between JPAMA and MWE through a student-led initiative outside the traditional academic setting.
A total of 14 teams joined the tournament, with 12 teams competing in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and two teams in League of Legends. The event gathered 75 student-gamers and reached about 2,800 online viewers through its two-day livestream.
The first day opened with remarks from the presidents of JPAMA and MSEUF Wildcat E-sports, followed by the elimination and semifinal rounds. The second day featured the finals, with student shoutcasters providing live commentary for online viewers.
The tournament concluded with an awarding ceremony that recognized the champions, runners-up and most valuable players. Organizers also delivered closing messages and acknowledgments, highlighting the success of the collaborative initiative.
Through the event, students strengthened teamwork, communication, discipline and sportsmanship while engaging in a growing field of digital competition. The activity also showed how student organizations can use online platforms to build community, raise support and create meaningful campus experiences.
The activity reflected MSEUF’s commitment to student-centered learning by supporting student-led initiatives that develop collaboration, leadership and digital engagement. It also upheld the core values of Unity, Excellence and Service as JPAMA and MWE worked together to create an inclusive and purposeful fundraising activity.
