JMA connects with Envergans; organizes a interactive, information booth

By operating an information booth, organizing interactive activities and supporting student-led entrepreneurial initiatives to help new students adjust to campus life, the Junior Marketing Association welcomed freshmen and transferee students during OSAlubong 2026 at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundatiob College and Bussiness and Accountancy building, July 13-14.
The Junior Marketing Association (JMA) participated in the two-day university welcoming activity by setting up an information booth that assisted incoming students as they navigated the Enverga University campus. Members distributed informational flyers, organized interactive games with prizes and offered affordable snacks through member-led businesses.
Twenty-two JMA members volunteered throughout the activity to provide guidance and create a welcoming environment for freshmen and transferee students. The booth gave participants convenient access to campus information while encouraging interaction with organization members through engaging activities.
The activity also promoted entrepreneurship by showcasing affordable snacks prepared through member-led businesses. The initiative provided students with practical opportunities to apply entrepreneurial skills while supporting engagement within the university community.
Reflecting on the activity, the organization stated in its project report, "The activity allowed us to welcome new students while demonstrating the values of service, leadership and entrepreneurship that define the Junior Marketing Association."
OSAlubong 2026 strengthened the organization's visibility within the university community and helped freshmen and transferee students begin their academic journey with confidence through meaningful interaction and accessible support.
The activity reflected Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation's commitment to Service, Unity and Excellence by helping new students transition smoothly into university life through volunteerism and student-led initiatives. It also embodied the university's educational philosophy of Learning by Doing and Student-Centered Learning by allowing JMA members to apply leadership, communication and entrepreneurial skills in a real-world setting while serving the needs of the student community.
