Student organizations prepare campus for OSAlubong 2025 welcome
Student organizations at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation took part in preparations for OSAlubong 2025 to help welcome freshmen and transferees ahead of the opening of classes.
The activity, initiated by the Office of Student Affairs and Services–Office of Student Organization, was held on July 17 and 18 at St. Bonaventure Hall and along the hallway from Gate 2 to the College of Engineering and Technology Building. The preparations were conducted in advance of OSAlubong, scheduled on July 21.
Eleven members of the Junior Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines–MSEUF actively participated in the initiative, which aimed to assist student organizations in introducing themselves to incoming students and encouraging campus involvement.
Participating organizations gathered at St. Bonaventure Hall to design and prepare banderitas featuring their logos and visual identities. The finished displays were installed along campus posts from Gate 2 to the CET Building, creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere for new students.
Organizers said the activity served as a form of free promotion for student organizations while also encouraging creativity, teamwork, and collaboration. As the first collective activity of officers for Academic Year 2025–2026, the preparation also strengthened coordination and camaraderie among JFINEX members.
The project benefited MSEUF freshmen, transferees, and recognized student organizations. Expenses totaled ₱150, which were covered through officers’ contributions.
The activity supports the University’s mission of holistic and student-centered education by helping students transition smoothly into campus life and encouraging early involvement in co-curricular activities. It reflects the core values of Unity through collaboration among student leaders, Service by assisting incoming students, Mindfulness by fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, and Excellence through organized and purposeful student engagement.
