GEP-QSC maps next student projects in planning meeting

Strengthening collaboration and setting clear directions for upcoming initiatives, the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines – Quezon Student Chapter conducted a project development and content planning meeting on Sept. 28 through Microsoft Teams.
Eighteen GEP-QSC members participated in the online session, where they reviewed the continuation of existing initiatives and developed plans for proposed educational, service, leadership and student engagement projects.
Members discussed the continuation of GE Trivia and A Day in a Life as a GE Student, including possible content development and coordination requirements needed for their implementation.
The organization also explored several proposed initiatives: GE Monthly Podcast, Tanong Mo, Sagot Ko, GE to Serve, GE to Lead, Mapping a Cleaner Tomorrow, and What is Your GE Experience? Members exchanged ideas on each project’s objectives, content, implementation plans and requirements.
Through the discussion, participants clarified responsibilities and strengthened coordination to help ensure that proposed activities can be developed systematically before implementation.
The meeting provided GEP-QSC with a clearer framework for sustaining current initiatives and developing new projects that can contribute to student learning, service, leadership and engagement within the University community.
The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s student-centered and learning-by-doing approaches by involving students directly in project development, content planning and organizational decision-making. It also reflected the core values of Mindfulness, Excellence and Unity through purposeful planning, collaboration and shared responsibility.
- SDG 4: Quality Education — The planning process encouraged students to develop educational and engagement initiatives while strengthening communication, organization and project management skills.
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — Collaborative planning among GEP-QSC members promoted shared responsibility and coordinated action toward organizational goals.
