GEP-QSC welcomes new members through Formal Acceptance 2025


The Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines-Quezon Student Chapter joined other College of Engineering organizations in holding Formal Acceptance 2025 to officially welcome newly accepted members into the organization and the college community.
With the theme “Sibol: The Dawn of a New Generation,” the event served as a warm welcome ceremony and symbolic rite of passage for new members. It affirmed their place in GEP-QSC and encouraged them to embrace their roles as future engineers.
Participants wore elegant Filipiñanas and Barongs, reflecting Filipino culture while marking the start of their journey in their respective organizations. The program featured the introduction of new members, recognition ceremonies and performances from newly accepted members and senior students.
Beyond the formal program, the activity fostered camaraderie and helped new members build meaningful connections with officers, senior members and faculty. It also strengthened the culture of belonging within the College of Engineering.
The event inspired the new generation of engineering students to uphold leadership, unity and excellence. Through messages, creative presentations and the warm support of upperclassmen and faculty, the newly accepted members gained confidence as they became part of a vibrant and growing engineering community.
Formal Acceptance 2025 benefited the newly accepted members of GEP-QSC, as well as student organization members, officers and faculty members. The activity gave students a meaningful and memorable experience that marked their first step toward greater involvement and achievement in the college.
