Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted a tree-planting activity on Feb. 10, at Villa Hulyana, San Lorenzo, to promote environmental awareness, reforestation and social responsibility among members of the university community.

Students, faculty and staff planted tree seedlings in designated areas as part of the university’s conservation efforts. The activity encouraged participants to take direct action in protecting the environment and supporting ecological balance.

Members of the Junior Philippine Association of Management Accountants participated in the initiative, showing their support for environmental programs beyond academic and organizational activities.

The project fostered unity among participants as they worked together toward a shared goal. It also strengthened teamwork, volunteerism and awareness of the importance of sustainable practices.

Through the planting activity, participants gained a deeper understanding of environmental protection and the role of collective action in creating greener communities.

The initiative contributed to the local environment by increasing green spaces and supporting the university’s broader commitment to integrate community involvement and environmental stewardship into its anniversary celebration.

The activity reflected MSEUF’s commitment to forming socially responsible individuals through meaningful community involvement and learning by doing. It also upheld the core values of Mindfulness, Service, Unity and Fortitude as the university community worked together to care for the environment and promote sustainability.
