EUSNA holds first general assembly; prepares for school year 2026-2027
Bringing approximately 120 officers and members together to prepare for the organization's programs and activities throughout the academic year, the Enverga University Student Nurses Association (EUSNA) conducted its first monthly general meeting for the Academic Year 2026-2027 at the Skills and Laboratory, College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, July 17.
The meeting served as EUSNA's first official general assembly of the academic year, providing members with an overview of the organization's accomplishments, policies, leadership structure, upcoming activities, and governance initiatives.
The morning session opened with a presentation highlighting EUSNA's accomplishments during the previous academic year, including OSALubong, the Information Desk, Freshmen Walk, CNAHS Orientation, the First Aid and Basic Life Support Seminar and Workshop, the Blood Letting Activity, Nurses' Day Celebration, Intramurals, community extension programs, and environmental initiatives. The presentation recognized the collective efforts of the organization's officers and members in promoting leadership, volunteerism, community service, and professional development.
Members also participated in an orientation on the organization's membership process, qualifications, requirements, responsibilities, and application procedures based on the provisions of its Constitution and By-Laws. The discussion emphasized the importance of active participation, accountability, and commitment throughout the academic year.
The assembly formally introduced the officers and committees for Academic Year 2026–2027 to familiarize members with the organization's leadership structure and committee functions. Several vacant positions were also filled through nominations, volunteer applications, and appointments to further strengthen the organization.
During the afternoon session, officers presented EUSNA's upcoming activities, including the CNAHS Orientation, Freshmen Walk, CNAHS Sportsfest, and Nurses' Day Celebration. Members also approved a ₱50 membership fee per semester through a majority vote following the discussion of the organization's recruitment process.
The meeting also included a discussion of documentary requirements for future organizational activities to ensure compliance with university policies and support effective event management.
To conclude the assembly, officers initiated the first review of the organization's Constitution and By-Laws by examining existing provisions, clarifying the duties and responsibilities of officers, and presenting proposed amendments for further deliberation.
The successful meeting strengthened communication, collaboration, and organizational governance while preparing EUSNA to implement its programs and activities throughout Academic Year 2026–2027.
The first Monthly General Meeting reflects Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation's commitment to student-centered learning by providing nursing students with opportunities to develop leadership, collaboration, and organizational management skills beyond the classroom.
